Visiting 27 stops over a ten-week tour, the Roadshow will visit all of the nations and regions of Britain in a specially branded London 2012 double-decker bus. The theme of this year's Roadshow is 'Join In', aiming to encourage everyone - particularly young people - to be inspired by sport with a long-term aim of increasing their participation in the run up to 2012, creating a lasting legacy for the UK. West End Live and Trace Event Update

On the weekend of 23/24 June, Parkour Coaching ran workshops both days in Leicester Square for the impressive West End Live festival. Despite a few rain showers the workshops went down very well with the public and people of all ages and walks of life got to try their hand at some simple movement drills. Huge thanks to Westminster Sports Unit for helping out, and to all the Academy crowd who lent a hand, especially James, Brian, Yao, Andrzej, Dom, Christian, Alli, Naomi and Amy - oh, and to one Johann Vigroux for carrying his duvet all the way from France. ;)

The evening of the 24th also saw a five-man team giving a live demonstration and in-depth explanation of parkour on the Lancaster West estate as part of Architecture Week and the Intransit artist-led city tours. Despite the pouring rain the event was a great success and thoroughly enjoyable for everyone involved. Thanks go out to Ashley for organising the whole thing, and to everyone who endured the rain all evening.
